Christmas Eve 2024
December 24, 2024
The Christmas Eve service is the second-fullest service of the year (Easter is the first). The shape — candlelight, processional, the prologue of John, and a long carol-sing to close — has been the same since the church was founded.
A few hundred people through the doors that night, including a number of folks visiting family in town. The choir had been rehearsing the processional for six weeks; you could hear it.
